Anne Gimm Naughton - Writer/Lawyer
I am strong
Because I can ride the waves of life with gratitude.
My Story
I want to live life to the fullest expression of who I am. I worry less about my appearance and concentrate more on the experiences that make me feel my best. So whether it’s indulging in a long, steamy shower; going for a run; traveling business-class (without the kids of course) or writing, I try and channel my energy into things that will put me in a positive state of mind. I always keep beautiful, inspiring images on my desk at work so I can instantaneously transcend whatever is happening around me. I believe in karma—that what you put out in the world comes back to you so I try to be compassionate, open-minded and generous with my thoughts and actions.
Step 1: Moisturizer

Begin with Hydrating Eye Cream and Hydrating Face Cream to infuse skin with an immediate burst of freshness while also ensuring your concealer and foundation apply smoothly.

Step 2: Corrector & Concealer

Using a Concealer Brush, brighten under eye darkness and neutralize any discoloration with Medium Dark Bisque Corrector mixed with Light Peach Corrector for a wide-awake look; gently pat it with your fingers to blend it into skin.

Follow with Natural Creamy Concealer; apply it as close to the lashline as possible, focusing on the innermost corner of the eye; blend again with fingertips.

Step 3: Foundation

Use your fingers or a makeup sponge to apply Medium Tint SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer all over the face.

For additional coverage on uneven areas of skin or where there is redness (usually around the nose and mouth), try Face Touch Up Stick in the shade that matches your natural skin tone.

Step 4: Powder

Ensure the staying power of your concealer and tinted moisturizer with a light dusting of Sheer Finish Pressed Powder.

Use an Eye Blender Brush or Mini Powder Puff to apply Pale Yellow to the under eye area, and a Powder Brush to apply Sunny Beige to the rest of the face.

Step 5: Bronzer & Blush

Add a warm, healthy tint to your cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and neck with Light Bronzer using the Bronzer Brush.

Apply a subtle color like Pale Pink Pot Rouge and then try patting Extra Soothing Balm on top to give skin a healthy, dewy appearance.

Step 6: Lipstick & Liner

Anne has incredibly voluptuous lips that Bobbi emphasized with Rose Blossom Rich Lip Color SPF 12.

Step 7: Brows

Brows were shaped and enhanced with Mahogany Eye Shadow using an Eye Brow Brush.

Step 8: Eye Shadow

Bobbi created a simple, yet sophisticated makeup palette for Anne first emphasizing her striking brow bones by dusting them using Ivory Eye Shadow and an Eye Sweep Brush; to add visual texture, Bobbi chose Shore Long-Wear Cream Shadow for the lid, applying it from the lashline to the crease with a Cream Shadow Brush.

Step 9: Eye Liner

Anne’s eyes were lined with Black Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner starting at the innermost corner and carefully working outwards.

Bobbi Tip: “Make sure liner is thick enough to be visible when your eyes are open.”

Step 10: Mascara

Try long-lasting Black No Smudge Mascara as a final step for beautifully defined, naturally curly lashes.

Pale Pink Pot Rouge with Opal Highlighter Pen on top gave Ann’s cheekbones a pretty dash of color with a stunning dewy afterglow.

Bobbi Tip: “Make sure liner is thick enough to be visible when your eyes are open.”

Step 6: Lipstick & Liner

Bobbi applied several layers Pink Tulle High Shimmer Lip Gloss to give Anne’s mouth a slick, slightly lacquered look.

Step 7: Brows

Brows were shaped and enhanced with Mahogany Eye Shadow using an Eye Brow Brush.

Step 8: Eye Shadow

Sultry, shimmering eyes gave Anne a party-perfect evening look so Bobbi used Chrome Patina Metallic Long-Wear Cream Shadow applied with a Cream Shadow Brush all over Anne’s lids to give them a rich sheen.

Step 9: Eye Liner

Bobbi emphasized Anne’s upper lashline giving it a super lush appearance by applying Black Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner and winging it out at the edges.

Step 10: Mascara

Black No Smudge Mascara has the staying power to keep lashes at their finest all night long.
