Celia Ammerman - Fashion Columnist
I am unconventional
Because I am a huge dork. I just happen to be attractive.
My Story
Fashion is my life and my heart swells with joy when I buy something I love. I don’t follow rules with regard to the way I dress. However, if I’m wearing ripped jeans, then I’ll go with disheveled hair and smoky eyes to match, because it’s all about a complete (and harmonious) package to make me feel my best. Like many teenagers, I went through an awkward stage, dealing with braces and acne for a few years. Not my favorite time. But I believe I grew into my looks and am usually happy when I glance in the mirror these days. My idea of bliss? Lots of laughter, love and satisfaction.
Step 1: Moisturizer

Begin with Hydrating Eye Cream and Hydrating Face Cream to infuse skin with an immediate burst of freshness while also ensuring your concealer and foundation apply smoothly.

Step 2: Corrector & Concealer

Using a Concealer Brush, brighten under eye darkness and neutralize any discoloration with Light Bisque Corrector for a wide-awake look; gently pat it with your fingers to blend it into skin.

Follow with Cool Sand Creamy Concealer; apply it as close to the lashline as possible, focusing on the innermost corner of the eye; blend again with fingertips.

Bobbi Tip: “Use Tinted Eye Brightener to quickly lift and brighten up your look.”

Step 3: Foundation

Use your fingers or a makeup sponge to spot-apply Warm Sand Moisture Rich Foundation SPF 15 on uneven areas of skin or where there is redness (usually around the nose and mouth).

For full, yet natural-looking coverage, use a Foundation Brush to apply and blend foundation.

Step 4: Powder

Ensure the staying power of your concealer and foundation with a light dusting of Pale Yellow Sheer Finish Pressed Powder.

Use an Eye Blender Brush or Mini Powder Puff to apply powder to the under eye area, and a Powder Brush to apply powder to the rest of the face.

Step 5: Bronzer & Blush

Desert Rose Blush gives Celia a soft, radiant glow without overpowering her fair skin.

Step 6: Lipstick & Liner

Bobbi created a perfect nude lip with Heather Beige Lip Liner; she followed Celia’s natural lip shape and then softened and blended any hard edges with a Lip Brush.

Step 7: Brows

To define and control Celia’s strong brows, Bobbi used Clear Natural Brow Shaper.

Step 8: Eye Shadow

Bobbi applied Grey Eye Shadow with an Eye Shadow Brush over Celia’s lids, sweeping the color from the lashline up to the crease.

Step 9: Eye Liner

To bring out their beautiful ocean-colored hue, Bobbi lined Celia’s eyes in Granite Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner.

Step 10: Mascara

Two coats of Black Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara completed Celia’s understated look.
