Granvilette W Kestenbaum - Trying to grow old gracefully
I am a proud member of the club of women enjoying the magic of growing older gracefully
Because I am constantly surrounded by extraordinary women “of a certain age” who inspire me.
My Story
I don’t think of myself as pretty. It’s much more about me feeling good. I feel good about myself on the days when the “me” in my head matches the “me” I see in the mirror. When my hair feels wrong or my makeup isn’t right (too much? too little?), I stop. I cut myself some slack. I try to laugh at myself. And I keep living. If I just keep living, things usually come around. I’ve always liked my smile. It’s never the wrong size; never goes out of style and always matches everything. The best part is that I can share my smile with others—there’s always enough happiness to go around.
Step 1: Moisturizer

Begin with Hydrating Eye Cream and Hydrating Face Cream to infuse skin with an immediate burst of freshness while also ensuring your concealer and foundation apply smoothly.

Step 2: Corrector & Concealer

Using a Concealer Brush, brighten under eye darkness and neutralize any discoloration with Very Deep Bisque Corrector for a wide-awake look; gently pat it with your fingers to blend it into skin.

Follow with Almond Creamy Concealer; apply it as close to the lashline as possible, focusing on the innermost corner of the eye; blend again with fingertips.

Step 3: Foundation

Use your fingers or a makeup sponge to apply Deep Tint Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm all over the face.

For additional coverage on uneven areas of skin or where there is redness (usually around the nose and mouth), try Face Touch Up Stick in the shade that matches your natural skin tone.

Step 4: Powder

Ensure the staying power of your concealer and tinted moisturizer with a light dusting of Sheer Finish Loose Powder Use an Eye Blender Brush or Mini Powder Puff to apply Pale Yellow to the under eye area, and a Powder Brush to apply Golden Orange to the rest of the face.

Step 5: Bronzer & Blush

Granvilette has a wonderfully rich skin tone that was enhanced by Pink Truffle Pot Rouge blended on the apples of her cheeks followed with Nectar Blush on top for deeper dimension.

Bobbi Tip: “Natural makeup doesn’t mean no makeup—it means makeup that’s right for your skin tone.”

Step 6: Lipstick & Liner

Heather Buff Creamy Lip Color gave Granvilette’s smile a soft neutral tint; Spun Gold Shimmer Lip Gloss added a rich, metallic sheen.

Step 7: Brows

Granvilette’s brows were brought to life with Steel Eye Shadow using an Eye Brow Brush.

Step 8: Eye Shadow

Bobbi chose soft, shimmering shades to play up Granvilette’s dazzling eyes; Bone Eye Shadow was used as a base and Cocoa Eye Shadow was layered into the lower lid.

Step 9: Eye Liner

Black Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner gave Granvilette’s eyes a polished definition and Black Plum Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow was smudged along the upper lashline to tone down the intensity.

Step 10: Mascara

A few easy sweeps of Black Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara gave Granvilette exceptionally long, lush lashes.
