Jenny Shimizu - Model Booker/Model/Mechanic
I am grateful
Because I have been given the opportunity to be the best person I can be on a daily basis. I have been given the gifts of love, compassion and faith.
My Story
My differences are my strengths. I’m comfortable in my own skin. Even when I fail (because at some point, we all do), I pick myself back up and try harder the next time. I see beauty as an inside job, meaning it comes from within, like a light emanating forth—and using a good moisturizer everyday doesn’t hurt either. In my old life, before I got into the modeling industry, I used to be a mechanic. Give me a broken carburetor and stand back while I figure out how to fix it. I see life in the same way… it’s about problem-solving and working out the kinks. I try to give back in appreciation for all the things I’ve been handed. I can feel it in my heart when I’m doing the right thing.
Step 1: Moisturizer

Begin with Hydrating Eye Cream and Hydrating Face Cream to infuse skin with an immediate burst of freshness while also ensuring your concealer and foundation apply smoothly.

Step 2: Corrector & Concealer

Using a Concealer Brush, brighten under eye darkness and neutralize any discoloration with Light Peach Corrector for a wide-awake look; gently pat it with your fingers to blend it into skin.

Follow with Warm Natural Creamy Concealer; apply it as close to the lashline as possible, focusing on the innermost corner of the eye; blend again with fingertips.

Step 3: Foundation

Use your fingers or a makeup sponge to spot-apply Warm Natural Foundation Stick on uneven areas of skin or where there is redness (usually around the nose and mouth).

For full, yet natural-looking coverage, use a Foundation Brush to apply and blend foundation.

Step 4: Powder

Ensure the staying power of your concealer and foundation with a light dusting of Warm Natural.

Use an Eye Blender Brush or Mini Powder Puff to apply Pale Yellow to the under eye area, and a Powder Brush to apply Warm Natural to the rest of the face.

Bobbi Tip: “For the most natural look, focus on applying powder on your t-zone.”

Step 5: Bronzer & Blush

Add a warm, healthy tint to your cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and neck with Golden Light Bronzing Powder using the Bronzer Brush.

Pale Pink Blush offers the lightest hint of flush for Jenny’s pretty complexion.

Step 6: Lipstick & Liner

Jenny’s beautiful baby doll pout makes a statement on its own, so Bobbi skipped color and opted for SPF 15 Lip Balm to soften and protect.

Step 7: Brows

Bobbi created a soft, well-defined brow using Mahogany Eye Shadow applied with an Eye Brow Brush.

Step 8: Eye Shadow

Jenny has a strong yet ethereal quality to her look and Bobbi used shimmering neutrals to highlight her natural glow; Burnt Sugar Metallic Eye Shadow was the perfect shade to enhance Jenny’s eyes using a Cream Shadow Brush.

Step 9: Eye Liner

Black Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner was carefully applied to Jenny’s upper lashline and winged out at the edges for an elongating effect.

Step 10: Mascara

A few coats of Black Perfectly Defined Mascara provided the ultimate finishing touch.

Bobbi swirled Nectar Blush on the apples of Jenny’s cheeks to give them a tawny, outdoorsy kiss of color.

Step 6: Lipstick & Liner

To create Jenny’s soft and creamy lip look, Bobbi applied Beige Lip Color followed with a topcoat of White Brightening Lip Gloss for a luscious sheen.

Step 8: Eye Shadow

Tinsel Long-Wear Eye Paint* was swept over Jenny’s entire lid using an Eye Shadow Brush. Next, Bobbi applied Silver Long-Wear Eye Paint* on the lower lid, blending the color from the lashline to the crease. (*Featured in Onyx & Silver Eye Paint Palette)

Bobbi Tip: “Layer medium shades on the lid until you get the desired smokiness.”

Step 9: Eye Liner

Jet & Chrome Dual Ended Eyeliner was applied to bring a new level of intensity to Jenny’s eyes, followed with Charcoal Eye Shadow smudged into the upper lashline using an Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush.

Step 10: Mascara

Lush lashes provided a flawless finish with a few coats of Black Perfectly Defined Mascara.
